Healing Offers Us a Return Home to Ourselves
I am passionate about supporting adults who have suffered complex, developmental, and attachment-based trauma, those using substances or what is perceived as “maladaptive” behaviors to cope, and LGBTQIA+ individuals who are struggling to feel safe or affirmed in their identity. With modalities such as EMDR and IFS-informed Parts Work, together we can help you reconnect with yourself after years of living in distressed, disconnected & shut-down states.
Additionally, I love providing compassionate and empowering supervision to therapists-in-training!
Despite traumas and stressors, no matter how lost we may feel, we all have the innate and intuitive capacity to transform into our most authentic, liberated, and aligned selves. We can rebuild and expand our window of tolerance, skillset, awareness, and community support. We can increase ease, patience, and self-compassion. We can return to our joy, comfort, peace, & a sense of embodiment.
There are many barriers to healing that are beyond our control—many stemming from the oppressive systems responsible for some of our deepest wounds. This may cause a sense of helplessness that no amount of therapy can protect us from; however, I aspire to offer understanding and soothing through acknowledging the systemic impact on our suffering while exploring ways of accessing hope and resiliency, without bypassing pain, even on our darkest days.
It is a privilege to collaborate with, empower, and support you throughout your therapeutic journey. Healing is not a destination. Rather, it is a continual process—one we may deviate from and rediscover repeatedly throughout our lifetime.
I am here to sit with you in your pain, your recovery, your joy and everywhere in between.
You are worthy of support.
